Changing Careers?
Do you think you would be interested in changing careers or augmenting your current career? Have you ever considered becoming a Certified Hypnotherapist? I am often asked how I got involved in Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. It probably does not seem like a natural career path for a guy who spent his whole previous career in federal-level investigations, yet, here I am. And I could not be happier!
For me, I was looking to find a career wherein I could help people make life-improving changes, and hypnotherapy does just that. My interest in hypnosis began about 1985 when I did a past-life regression, and it was life-altering for me. I knew right then hypnosis would be a part of my life in some way or another, but I sure did not consider that it would be my future career as it is now.
When I decided to explore a career in hypnotherapy, I researched a variety of schools. In the end, it came down to a school in central California, and one in Portland, Oregon – the Knightsbridge Institute. I ultimately chose the Knightsbridge Institute, and I am so glad I did. Geoffrey Knight, the founder, is an amazing hypnotherapy clinician with loads of experience. The training I received at Knightsbridge was so comprehensive I was able to begin my clinic practice right after I graduated.
So, here is some good news: Knightsbridge Institute is beginning a course to train new hypnotherapists in October 2015 in Portland, Oregon. The training will be held over 7 Saturday/Sundays about 3 weeks in between each weekend session, so perfect for those who are working and cannot make it during weekdays. And if someone wants to check out whether hypnotherapy would be something in which they are interested, Knightsbridge is holding FREE introductory 3 ½ hour seminars on selected Saturdays between July 25th and September 5th, 2015. To sign up for one of the seminars or for the Hypnotherapy Certification Course, visit www.knightsbridgeinstitute.com, or contact me for more information as well. It could change your life!
